Rules, Terms, and Conditions for Participation

The Wyndham Commons Greenhouse Committee, and ultimately the Wyndham Commons Board, is the authority for the Wyndham Commons Greenhouse. If I become a Wyndham Commons Greenhouse member gardener, I will abide by the following rules, terms, and conditions: 

1. I agree to abide by the policies and practices of the Wyndham Commons Greenhouse Committee (WCGC).
2. The start-up contribution per unit is $25 for the purchase of items for common use, i.e., equipment, supplies, reference material, our membership in local/state/national organizations.
3. The annual fee is $5 per year (April 1 – March 31), due on or before March 1. This fee is for purchasing items for common use during the year. The first year’s annual fee is included in the start-up contribution and therefore will not be due until the second year of membership.
4. Unused greenhouse space can be reassigned at the discretion of the WCGC.
5. My allotted area is 2 feet x 3 feet. I will keep my plants and personal supplies within the limits of my allotted space.
6. I will keep my area, paths, and surrounding areas clean and neat and free of weeds, pests and diseases.
7. I will leave personal supplies in the greenhouse at my own risk.
8. I will take my trash out of the greenhouse every time I work there.
9. Guests and visitors, including children and pets, may enter the greenhouse only if accompanied by a member. Members are responsible for all guests. Children and pets must be supervised at all times.
10. The greenhouse committee can assign me general maintenance tasks and I will accomplish them in the time assigned to me.
11. I can attend greenhouse member meetings and workshops.
12. I will use pesticides in the greenhouse according to the guidelines established by the greenhouse committee.
13. I will not plant any illegal plant. I will not smoke, or use illegal drugs in the greenhouse.
14. I will not share the keys or codes for the greenhouse with non-members.
15. I will not take food or plants from another gardener’s area. I will not take anything from the greenhouse that is not rightfully mine.
16. I forfeit my right to sue the owner of the property.
17. The Greenhouse Committee and/or the Condominium Association is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of plants or property resulting from any circumstances whatsoever involving the use of the Greenhouse. 

Breaking any rules, terms, and conditions is cause for exclusion from the greenhouse and loss of your area.

1. You will receive one verbal warning from the greenhouse committee.
2. If no response or correction has been made, you will receive written notice two weeks later.
3. In another two weeks, if no response or correction has been made, you will receive written final notification that you have forfeited your gardening privileges and area.
4. You will be allowed to reapply for another greenhouse area only after one year, and only at the discretion of the greenhouse committee.

I have read and understand the application and accept these rules, terms, and conditions stated above for the participation in the Wyndham Commons Greenhouse.
